Black Magic Not So Magic

 Three weeks ago the Black Magic plants in the pond drooped badly after a cold night.  They looked so sad.  I trimmed off the leaves and moved them to the greenhouse where they will stay until spring.   And then two weeks ago, we had a hard freeze when the overnight temperature dropped to 25 degrees.  That was it for the Elephant Ears as their giant leaves bent over to the ground.  After a couple of days the stems turned very mushy.  With luck, they will come back strong next year.
