Pumpkins Grow Almost by Accident
Last year we attended a fall festival and everyone was given a small pumpkin. After ours started rot, we just threw them into the garden. Low and behold this spring a pumpkin plant sprouted and started to grow. The plant spread with vines about 15 feet long. Eventually we found 4 pumpkins and harvested them this week as the vines were starting to die.

How big did they grow? I am currently growing like six vines in my backyard right now. I carve a small pumpkin and throw the seeds outside.
