Butterfly Bushes Better Than Ever

The Butterfly bushes that we cut back to 3 feet in February are now doing better than ever. They are 10 to 12 feet tall covered with blooms. We have 5 around the deck. One with white flowers and 4 with purple flowers. The butterflies and the bees love them and seem to share the bounty without argument. In the first photo is a bee on a white flower stalk and below is a large butterfly enjoying a purple flower. It is a great joy to watch the many different colors of butterflies around the bushes.
