Cantaloupe Volunteer

 We mix our compost with garden soil in 20 gallon buckets to grow red potatoes.  This year two of the three buckets produced lots of potatoes but one surprised us.  Soon after planting the potatoes, a cucumber vine was growing very fast and produced many cucumbers.  Just a couple of weeks ago another vine emerged and a cantaloupe started to grow.  We are keeping our fingers crossed that it will grow to be a edible fruit.
